Reading “The Power of the LORD was Present” is not some mere do it yourself book. It bears a young woman’s testimony of what some, if not many, of us have experienced in our lives; a powerful testimony of a pastor’s wife who dare to share how God’s power brought forgiveness, healing and deliverance to her life. It’s a book that the author bore her soul without compromise; it’s touching and poignant but it’s not like reading a novel. She let us know what we need to root out of our lives and what we need to be whole. Thus, it should probe us into not settling into our painful pasts and our bad attitudes but releasing those things to God and reaching toward a God-centered fruitful present and future.
It behooves us as saints of God to allow the God’s healing power to permeate our lives and allow it to loose us from every baggage of hurt, hatred, bitterness, rejection and whatever situation or circumstance that will keep us from having that real and intimate relationship with our God and his son Jesus Christ.
I Just finished reading "The Power of The Lord Was Present" and I was thoroughly blessed by it. My sister, I saw so much of myself in your book. All of us have a story and no one will know it until it is told. This book teaches us how we can grow and be healed mentally, physically and spiritually. God has anointed you to be a catalyst to women with your testimony. May God bless you abundantly with favor from on high. Love you.
“The Power of the Lord was Present" offers insight from a practical, spiritual, and biblical perspective. In addition, this book serves as a guide to dealing with hurt and rejection from ones past. I could identify from several points, which awaken some of the past problems I have been putting off. This book is truly a blessing. The more I read, I was able to be whole in certain areas of my life.”
